In a feature factory, "done" means the feature is shipped. Code merged, deployed, release notes written.
In an outcome-driven team, "done" means the target metric moved. A feature is not complete when it ships. It is complete when the data shows it worked.
This changes everything. Engineers care about adoption, not just deployment. PMs monitor metrics post-launch instead of moving to the next spec. The team feels the difference between shipping something that matters and shipping something that does not.
Change 2: Outcome-Based OKRs
Replace feature-based OKRs with outcome-based ones.
