Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you fill out a form (contact, booking, quiz), we collect the information you enter: name, email, company name, phone (optional), and message content. We use this to respond to you and run our business.

The Product Thinking Coach on this site is optional. If you use it, your free-text answers are sent to an AI service to generate structured feedback on the page. Do not paste confidential or regulated data you would not put in an email. If you choose to email yourself a summary on the last step, we collect your email, role, revenue band, and consent the same way as other lead forms (reportType: coach-summary).

We use analytics and cookies to understand how visitors use the site. That includes page views, referral sources, and basic device information. We do not sell this data.

We also send anonymized measurement events to Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager when you take key actions (for example, clicking a booking link, completing the growth quiz, downloading a resource, or finishing a booking). Those events help us see which pages and CTAs lead to real outcomes. They do not include the contents of your messages or call recordings.

If you choose Decline on the cookie banner, we do not load Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, or Microsoft Clarity on that browser until you clear the choice or choose Accept.

Coach cookies (first-party): pmguru_coach_session (signed, httpOnly, about 7 days) holds your step and in-progress coach state. pmguru_user_id (httpOnly, long-lived) is an anonymous id for fair use limits. pmguru_coach_daily (httpOnly, short-lived) counts how many coach sessions you started today so we can cap abuse. Server-side counters (for example per IP and monthly AI budget) use our infrastructure provider and do not replace these cookies.

How we use your data

Form submissions are used to reply to inquiries, schedule calls, and deliver requested content. Coach inputs are used only to show you feedback in the tool and, if you submit the email step, to follow up like any other form. Analytics help us improve the site and understand what content resonates. We do not use your data for ads or retargeting.

Third parties

We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity when you accept cookies. Those services may set cookies and process data according to their own privacy policies. They help us see how people use the site so we can fix issues and improve it. We do not load other marketing trackers on this site.

Data retention

Form submissions are retained as long as needed for business purposes (e.g., follow-up, records). Coach session cookies expire on the schedule above. Analytics data is typically stored according to GA4 and Clarity defaults (GA4: 2–14 months depending on settings; Clarity: per Microsoft policy). You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. You can opt out of analytics via browser settings or tools like the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have rights under GDPR.
